 Takko-machi Junior High Students Visit 2010

The annual visit to Gilroy by Takko-machi junior high students is scheduled for them to arrive on October 27, 2010 and leave for home on November 1, 2010. Their stay will include the local city tours, school visits and participation, and a Halloween/Sayonara party. Gilroy Sister Cities Association is eagerly looking forward to hosting the group.

Due to concerns over the H1N1 situation, this year’s visit by Takko-machi high school students was cancelled. However, it is presently scheduled for the usual time in January 2011 and will include the students from this year who missed their chance to come to Gilroy. As such, it should be a very large group!
